For me, the biggest problem with some startup funding announcements is the lack of specific information.
"Backed by leading investors" doesn't tell me much if the investors aren't named. "Raised a significant amount" is also less useful than an actual figure.
Obviously, some information may be confidential, but within those limits, transparency makes the announcement much stronger.
I'd include the round type, amount raised, lead investor, participating investors, company traction and planned use of capital.
A crypto funding round press release is a good format for putting those facts together in a way that journalists and future investors can reference.
